The Chino Basin Program (CBP) revolutionizes water management in California, enhancing local supply and reducing imported water dependency. It integrates a unique water exchange system, new recycled water initiatives, and vital infrastructure advancements, aimed at boosting water security and system efficiency. This initiative supports substantial capital improvements, with a focus on delivering sophisticated recycled water from the Chino Groundwater Basin by 2028. Arellano Associates has crafted and executed a comprehensive Public Participation Plan to foster understanding and support for the CBP, employing strategic outreach to inform stakeholders of the program's benefits and progress.
