PROJECT DESCRIPTION

With the launch of the 91/Perris Valley Line in 2015, Riverside County Transportation Commission (RCTC) has made it its mission to educate people on the benefits and fun of riding Metrolink. This marketing effort is designed to increase awareness and, ultimately, patronage of the Metrolink system to and from Riverside County, and develop interest in the new Perris Valley Line. As part of the marketing efforts, special trains to Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim baseball and Los Angeles Rams football games and other events have been advertised.

OUR ROLE

  • AA is leading the effort to develop marketing plans and strategies to increase ridership on the 91/Perris Valley Line, Riverside Line, and Inland Empire/Orange County Line from Riverside County.
  • AA is producing videos and other interactive media to showcase destinations Riverside County residents can reach by using Metrolink.
  • AA is coordinating efforts to reach out to senior organizations, schools, and community centers to offer exclusive train excursions to key destinations.
  • AA is working closely with RCTC to push out a targeted social media campaign.
