PROPOSED PROJECT FLYOVER SIMULATION

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

SR-133 is a north-south route, also known as Laguna Canyon Road, in the City of Laguna Beach. Segments of the roadway have non-standard shoulder widths and portions of the roadway are operating with higher-than-average collision rates. Laguna Canyon’s specific topography and upstream watershed also make the area prone to seasonal flooding. This project will improve roadway deficiencies by bringing SR-133 to design standards, improve safety in the vicinity, and reduce flooding by improving drainage flow.

OUR ROLE

  • AA is leading the outreach efforts, which includes developing and branding all project materials.
  • Upon release of the environmental document, AA organized a Public Hearing to provide project information to stakeholders and receive official public comments.
  • AA worked closely with the design team to develop a fly-over video to showcase project improvements along the corridor.
